KC's Tales - Part 1

This is the story of Kaley Creek (KC) Wohlgemuth, the hound dog that found a home! KC joined the Wohlgemuth Family on July 18, 2010.  The 5 Wogs, Bonnie, Bubba, Maggie, Annie and Eddie, begged their parents for a dog for years. Having their hands full with five kids, they never considered it until....their vacation to the mountains!  A hound dog puppy adopted the 5 Wog kids and here’s how their story unfolds!

The Story of 5 Wogs and a Dog - Part 1

To the cabin in the mountains we went, 

For our annual vacation we spent

Our days in the creek, feeding the horse, 

Maw Maw cooked pies and cobblers of course

Over the hill, and through the woods, 

The puppy came running to where we stood

Maggie was brave and scooped her up, 

But Annie dropped her on her rump

The kids carried her back and she never left, 

Especially her nice warm bed

That Bonnie carefully made, 

A towel neatly folded inside a crate

Kaley Creek was to be her name, 

KC for short, it would remain

She adopted us, never leaving our side, 

Content and happy, in pure delight

Dad tried to withstand the swirl, 

But fell in love calling her “My Girl!”

Even Bubs was caving, on his dog hating,

And Eddie finally had a younger sibling

Mom was trying to be strong and resist,

The concern and worry did persist

We left her for home, and all of us cried

But three days later, got a BIG surprise....
